New school, new friends, hundreds of thousands of students can’t wait to start the new phase of their life. Being in a new place can be exiting, but sometimes it can be frustrating. Choosing a suitable PND can help students familiarize themselves with the new circumstances sooner and make new life safer and easier, especially for those who are eager to explore more in their new life, Mio’s easy-to-use devices will be their best companion.
If you have little ones that have just started school, an S500 or 700 will keep them entertained on the way home. With its built-in digital TV receiver they’ll be able to watch their favorite programs whilst you concentrate on the road ahead.
If they’re away at university, why not buy them an entry level PND such one of the S300 range with its intuitive Spirit interface and multitude of POI’s. It’s a great way of helping them explore and familiarize themselves with their new home.
Wherever your kids are going this September a Mio GPS device will help them and you.
Mio are celebrating the success of this year’s IFA consumer electronics show that took place in Berlin between 4-9 September.
The IFA website was hugely popular and helped direct many people to the stand. Being demonstrated was the award winning Mio Moov V505 and V735 PND’s with integrated DVB-T digital TV receivers. Other products included the mid-range S series and the entry level M series for new PND users.
The well organized stand attracted many customers with the help of some great products and thrice daily raffles where winners could walk away with assorted freebies such as key rings, t-shirts and a Mio Moov GPS.
We’re launching our 5 part out-of-the-box video explaining in simple easy to understand terms, what to expect from a Mio PND. Whilst this video focuses on the V735, parts 1-3 & 5 apply to any of the S series models. Here is what you can watch on the videos:
Part 1 - describes what you can expect to see on the outside of the box.
Part 2 - shows you the contents of the box. Contents may vary depending on the model purchased, but the essentials are the same.
Part 3 –introduces the key features of the Spirit interface and how to use them.
Part 4 –explains how to use the digital TV functions of the V700 and V500 models.
Part 5 – describes how to mount the device in the car and start using the PND.
We hope you enjoy them and that they provide you with some useful information. If you’d like to see more videos let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
