When Mio changed its navigation software from MioMap to Spirit, they also changed the packaging of their products. Have you noticed the new Mio Spirit product packaging on store shelves?
The concept behind the design was to twofold: the first was to show that the devices fit comfortably into the users hand; the second is that as the products change, so does the position of the hand, therefore making it easier to differentiate the products on the shelves.
But this article is not about Mio's packaging design. It's about introducing you to our hand model.
Although you'd never know it, our hand is far from the professional model it would appear. After exhaustive research, interviews with tens of pairs of hands, their ambitions, plans for world peace, how they’d cure poverty and how they look naked, in a bikini and in an evening dress, we chose the delightful pair that now adorn the boxes of thousands of Mio devices boxes around the world. To find out more about the owner of the hand let's go and have a look inside the Mio HQ Office.
Do these hands look familiar to you?
This is our hand model –Debby!
Debby and the photographer in the studio of Mio HQ.
"My hand travels the world for me" said Debby, with a lovely smile on her face.
See how many places the hands have been? To Israel..
Mio would like to thank to Debby's hands for their role representing Mio navigation devices around the globe. Here's to hoping that one day Debby's hands will be able to travel the world with their owner.
One final word from Debby about how she looks after those star digits of hers:"Modeling is every girl's dream, but we grow out of it when reality kicks in. Thanks to Mio, my hands have had their dreams come true and now they have an excuse to be even more pampered!"

One of Mio's biggest weakness is not supporting older units with map upgrades. Frustrating when visiting nearby countries like Mexico or even Puerto Rico.

I am not happy with my C520 in Sydney, Australia.
1) Slow on start
2) Slow on respond (3 Sec delay), I always lost because of the slow
3) Wrong map, I was round around in Liverpool CBD for 15min three times when I was trying to pass the CBD because one of the lanes changed to a bus lane
4) Similar errors in other Sydney aeras, sometimes it couldn't find a road!
Anyway, hope there is an updated map, why not yet:(

Hi Andy,
If V735T connects to PC, it would be recognized as a USB OTG for saving files.
