Readers of the Russian technology site Hi-Tech.mail.ru named the Mio Moov V780 Best Navigation Gadget for 2010. More than 158,000 Russian gadget fanatics logged on to take part in the voting, with the V780 getting the nod from 45% of respondents. Second place in the navigation category went to the Garmin Nuvi 1200T with just 38% of the votes. A powerful feature set, which includes dual navigation and HD media player functionality, WiFi and 3G/WiMax wireless connectivity, as well as the device’s crisp 7-inch touch screen, were a hit with V780 supporters. Top gadgets winning in other categories included breakthrough products by iconic brands like Apple’s iPhone 4 smartphone, Macbook Air notebook and iPad tablet; Microsoft’ Xbox Kinect game controller; and the Sony Bravia LX900 television.
