Looking for love in all the wrong places? Israeli TV network Mako has found a solution in the Mio Moov 501. The network’s web portal recommends the GPS as a perfect gift for Tu B’Av, otherwise known as Jewish Valentines Day. Better yet, the article suggests one use the device to guide you to your one true love. Either way, the 4.7-inch screen, fast Samsung processor and maps of Israel ensure that the only thing getting lost on the road to happiness is your heart. While the reviewer found the Moov 501’s red color not to his taste, there was much to praise in the satnav’s 20-channel antenna, SD card expandability, PC synchronization and Hebrew documentation.
“Technically solid” and “well-crafted” are just a few of the positive adjectives Polish tech Web site PDA Club heaped on the Mio Spirit 487 in a recent review. Apart from a minor gripe about the lack of a USB cable, the review lauds the Spirit 487’s simple and efficient external design. The writer goes on to praise the navigation device’s easy-to-use software bundle, adding that “uploading files from PC to your Mio Device is satisfyingly fast.” The Spirit 487’s clear LCD monitor also won the writer over. After hitting the road to put the satnav through its paces, he found the device to be a satisfying entry-level GPS that gets the job done on a budget. Read the complete review
